Hanako M. Ricks is the Creator and Host of the Fandom Hybrid Podcast, started in 2020 as a podcast in order to have fun discussions about all things geeky in genre TV and film, conventions, and pop culture. Labeling herself as a “fandom enthusiast”, she has also been a co-host of the Sci-Fi Party Line Podcast since 2009. Hanako has been a panelist at various fan conventions since 2010, and is a former writer/blogger for Examiner, HollywoodNews.com, and her former blog, “Confessions of a Grown-Up Fangirl”. Her current favorite shows are House of the Dragon, Shadow & Bone, Outlander, The Boys, The Umbrella Academy, The Witcher, everything in The Walking Dead Universe, and all things Marvel.
