Steve Burns is an American actor, television host, singer, and musician. He is best known as the original host of the long-running children’s preschool television program Blue’s Clues, for which he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2001.  He returned to the role in Blue’s Clues & You, and Blue’s Big City Adventure.

He was also in Christmas on Mars, Netherbeast Incorporated, Marie and Bruce,  with appearances in Law & Order, Yes Dear, The Professionals, and Young Sheldon.
