Laura Martin is an award-winning veteran of comics coloring. She got her start at Wildstorm Studios, breaking out with her work on Planetary and The Authority. She went freelance in 2000 to color Ultimate-X (Marvel), JLA, and JLA: Heaven’s Ladder (DC). In 2001, Laura accepted a supervisory position at CrossGen Comics, where she colored Ruse and Negation. In 2004, Laura returned to freelance, and has been coloring an impressive volume of comics, including Astonishing X-Men, The Ultimates, Thor, Uncanny Avengers, Stephen King’s The Stand, AvX, Black Panther, and Star Wars (Marvel); Dr. Manhattan, Superman, Wonder Woman (DC Comics); Serenity and Plastic (Dark Horse); Armor Hunters (Valiant); Spawn (Image); and The Rocketeer and Ragnarök (IDW). Her projects in 2024 include The Others (CMON Games) and Megalith (Bad Idea). Laura lives with her husband Randy and their three cats in Atlanta, Georgia.
